Job Description

*** Ideal candidates should posses accounting/finance background, and or related course work.
The person in this job performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting manufacturing goals for customer orders by maintaining counts and tracking inventory levels of supplies and materials as needed.


Essential Functions:



  It is the responsibility of the Inventory Coordinator to manage month end inventory and reconcile the monthly physical inventory for finished goods, resales, warehouses, and raw materials.



Enter daily production paperwork, split tickets and journal entries.



Investigate raw material and finished goods variances, resolve discrepancies, and track ingredient substitutions,



Complete daily cycle counts in production and warehouse.



Monitor load move tickets, Mat Stat and FIFO.



Submit and follow up on formula revisions.



Reconcile daily ingredients on hand and production yield +/-.



Review and file production batch tickets.



Maintains open communication with Purchasing Manager and Plant Manager regarding variances, discrepancies, reports, etc.



Supervises Inventory Control Clerk

Job Requirements

Associates degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years’ inventory work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with food/perishables. 



Must have mastery of AS400 systems



Must be proficient in the use and understanding of RF system.



Must be proficient in MS Office and Lotus Notes programs. With particular emphasis on Excel.
